MYA and Equinox Guiding Service are heading to Acadia National Park for a day of hiking, eating yummy vegetarian food, and rock climbing!
The adventure begins at the trailhead for Gorham Mountain, a close to the coast 1.8 mile trail with a 525 ft summit. We’ll hit some stunning views on this moderate hike, adventurers will find a sweet pace so that energy is preserved for the upcoming climbing session. We'll also find some places along the way to breathe deeply and practice yoga.
We’ll follow up the hike with vegetarian food that MYA will provide picnic style; perhaps a crock pot of soup to keep us warmed up!
For this season’s climb in Acadia, we’ll take on one of the bubbles with Noah Kleiner of Equinox Guiding Service. Noah will help guide adventurers through every step of the way - no experience necessary. MYA has worked with him several times and he always gets rave reviews from MYA clients and his.
For our rock climbing pleasure, we’ll hit the South Bubble. The South Bubble’s position above Jordan pond provides excellent views of the surrounding pond and ocean with islands jutting out in the distance.
The novice friendly low-angled slab is great place to start, no worries beginners! The second tear slabs create a great slab training ground to challenge your newly learned ability. Like your yoga practice, you only go as far as your body wants to! Climbing pic courtesy of Equinox Guiding Service.
