Join MYA for a wintertime adventure exploring Schoodic Peninsula on Mount Desert Island, a beautifully dramatic seaside landscape of Acadia National Park. Put on your fav snowsuit, the more flashy & funky the better, and get ready for a coastal romp!

The adventure begins at Schoodic Woods where we’ll play around on a couple different nature trails taking in both dense forests and breathtaking coastline. Buck Cove Mountain Trail will take adventurers past a cave-like formation and wetlands as the Lower Harbor Trail winds a 1.5 miles along the shore. MYA is hoping for plenty of snow so we can slap on our snowshoes and really get in some fun!

Next up is a short drive over to Schoodic Point for our yummy vegetarian food break along with some super tasty hot chocolate. We’ll also get in more crazy sweet views and some playtime on the rocks. Snowball fight, snow angels?!

Our last stop on our peninsula adventure will include a visit to Blueberry Hill for snowga - yoga in the snow :) This practice is absolutely made for beginners! With snowshoes on balancing can be quite interesting and fun. The Alder Trail is another lovely hiking trail adventurers will get a chance to take a peek at.

We’ll gather up to watch the sun go down in glorious dramatic seaside fashion then say our goodbyes. Don’t miss out on this Sundayfunday drama :)
