Adventurers will gather at Brownie’s Beach a sweet spot close to downtown Orono on Monday nights this season, July 25th, August 1 & August 8 at 5:30pm. Our boards, paddles, pfds, and anchors, will be delivered weekly by the fab UMAINE campus organization Maine Bound. Or, you can bring along your own board to join in on the yoga flows.
You never know what you might see, the natural world is alive and well on the river with turtles, beavers, cormorants, songbirds, sandpipers, eagle, osprey and more.
This yoga practice is for everyone, no worries, you'll only fall in if you really want to and honestly, that's part of the fun! (have warm cozy clothes on the sidelines just in case!) Yoga is always only doing what is best for your body, mind, and spirit; all variations, modifications, personal flair, all is welcome! No doubt that adventurers will strengthen their core and test their balance.
Each Monday at the adventure's close - Holly is thrilled to invite adventurers to her back porch and gardens for wine, cheese, chocolate and lots of chit chatting!
Drop in: $40/board rental; $35/own board.
