Zipping, Castling & Skiing Adventure

MYA is headed to the beautiful White Mountains region of New Hampshire for a wicked fun packed weekend adventure including winter ziplining, nighttime ice castle exploring, downhill skiing (cross country if you prefer), and more…

Friday eve will get settled into our accommodations adjacent to the Pemigewasset River, Rivergreen Resort Hotel in the heart of the White Mountains, offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and river valley. MYA will partake in two bedroom suites with full kitchens, dining area, and in-room Jacuzzi tubs. We’ll also enjoy an indoor pool, whirlpool, fitness room, and great room with fireplace. Arrival time is very flexible (check in is at 4pm). We’ll settle in, be sure to stretch out the drive, enjoy happy hour and indulge in a hearty vegetarian meal.

Saturday, after breakfast and a yoga practice, adventurers have a date in Lincoln with Alpine Adventures for winter ziplining. They opened the first, longest, highest and fastest Zipline Canopy Tour in New England in 2006. Our adrenaline will be pumping on this wintertime thrill ride! Our guides will keep us safe and secure as we zip over the canopy with outstanding views.

We’ll come back to our resort to relax and eat some yummy food before heading out for nighttime fun - a visit to the Ice Castles! Adventurers will explore icy layers and tunnels in a real-life version of the movie Frozen. The castles are enshrouded in an aurora borealis and lit from within in a rainbow of colors.

Sunday funday can be adventurer’s choice! Loon Mountain is close by and has wonderful downhill runs. Cross-country skiing is awesome there too, their network of wide trails makes for a perfect way to explore the White Mountains. The cross-country runs vary as does the downhill experience from beginner trails to more advanced. Loon also has a skating pond that we may like to check out - fun!

Adventurers can purchase their downhill skiing tickets online or if there are enough of us, MYA can purchase as a group. If you prefer cross-country skiing no worries, their trail prices are very affordable.

We'll also carve out some time to check out the The Flume in Franconia Notch State Park - a super cool site of flowing water and thick ice and snow.

Don’t miss out on adventuring with yoga, healthy vegetarian food, winter ziplining (yes, if you don’t want to partake you can still come on this adventure), ice castles, striding thru town, playtime in the snow and more…

maybe we’ll get in some snowga too!
