Join MYA for a last minute fabulous adventure to Croatia! We’ll breathe in stunning landscapes, play in the water and on the hiking trails, soak in island vibes, yogify in the perfect outdoor climate, and eat lots of fresh farm to table vegetarian food.

After recently scouting the country it’s hard not to want to return as quickly as possible! Adventurers will fly out on Tuesday, September 9th to arrive in the country in the morning of the 10th. We’re beginning with the historic walled-in old city of Dubrovnik where we can stroll tiny streets and hike to outstanding views from every angle. To switch up the perspective from close range to further afield is wonderful for the mind, body & spirit. The evenings become a nice time to explore as many people empty out of the old city and quiet becomes the norm along with the soft sounds of sly kitties on the move.

We can ferry over to a nearby island to swim in the salt bay and take the trail that winds the entire periphery of the island. There’s a great restaurant to pause and have lunch surrounded by plants and trees in the shade.

The adventure pad is an apartment right in the old city, the presidential suite with sea views. We’ll have three bedrooms and three bathrooms, king beds and sofa beds are our options. I’m happy to take one of the sofa beds! There’s a terrace, a private beach, and an a la carte breakfast to take advantage of. Buza Beach is just a few steps away and Orlando Column is a 3-minute walk, Dubrovnik Cathedral lies nearby, and Pile Gate, one of the entrances to the old city, is super close to the apartment. We’ll have one night here at the start of our adventure and we’ll close out our adventure here as well.

Our next stop is the laid back and gorgeous island of Korcula. The old town is divine for strolling & sightseeing and of course grabbing up a gelato! It is island time for sure as we take things slow and easy. We’ll have a delicious homemade meal in town at a local restaurant that specializes in what is fresh for the day. This is a meal that will be covered by adventurers as some may want to partake in the meats :)

Our fabulous stay for three nights is right across from the harbor in quaint rooms with sweet views and lots of areas to relax in. We'll have two rooms with two queen beds each and two sofa beds (they’re really cozy!).The breakfast is outstanding! There is a dedicated space for our outdoor yoga practice with mats readily available. Adventurers will have an opportunity to take a kayak tour, highly recommended but optional.

Our second island to explore is gorgeous Hvar for a two night stay, the Mediterranean dream with rustic cobblestone streets aplenty and pristine turquoise waters. Adventurers will stay right in the city center on the harbor with glorious views of the water and St. Stephen's Square with the 13th century City Fortress visible above on the hillside. Both the town and fortress are lit at night making for pretty exceptional views.

We’ll have a studio apartment for one or two and another apartment with room for four or five, both comfortable and quiet. Lovely beaches are just a five minute walk away as well as many historic gems. Please know that there are three stories of stairs to climb up with your bags, so, pack light my friends.

There are serious slices of heaven not far from our harbor, the charming old town, quiet coves & beaches, and hiking trails. Lavender fields, vineyards, olive groves, and a couple of sweet villages will greet us if we decide to travel further from the city.

On Tuesday, we’ll head out of Hvar on a ferry back to Dubrovnik for our last evening together, soaking in the final bits of goodness.

Don’t miss out on this fabulous adventure to Croatia at the perfect time of year as tourism slows and the heat simmers down! MYA will offer up four vegetarian dinners and all breakfasts, a daily yoga practice (perhaps a second round in the evening), ferry transports from Dubrovnik to Korcula to Hvar and back again, and lots of good vibes & positive energy.
