Join MYA & Sebasticook Regional Land Trust as we journey back to Unity for a beautiful trail stroll with pauses for yoga and a visit to Stone Tree Farm & Cidery for yummy vegetarian food, and a writing and/or drawing sesh before we delight in some live music. No writing, drawing, or yoga experience is necessary.

Cheryl will be leading the stroll adding in details of the natural world along the way and Holly will find pauses to move our bodies, breathe, and meditate. Encompassing two miles of 25-Mile Stream shoreline, the 700-acre Moulton's Mill Preserve offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the woods, the trail provides a streamside walking and a viewing of the old mill site. If you’d like to make a donation to the land trust to support their work, this day would be a great opportunity.

Cheryl is the executive director of the Sebasticook Regional Land Trust. She was the editor of Northern Woodlands magazine and an editorial assistant for Orion magazine. Her writing has appeared in regional literary and conservation publications throughout New England. She enjoys exploring the natural wonders of Maine.

After our stroll the next stop will be Stone Tree Farm & Cidery established by Brian Erickson and Frank Haferland. With a love of wine and cider they pursued their dream of starting and operating their own establishment. MYA will share delicious vegetarian eats. Cheryl will guide us through writing and/or drawing prompts that adventurers can work on and can share with the group if they like. All can have a tasting of their choice and settle in to create prose or drawings and listen to storytelling with no judgement.

We’ll all relax and get into the live music vibes; yes, Duke Dog is the name of the band :)
