Zipping, Castling & Skiing Adventure

  • Private Residence Lincoln, NH (map)

We had a blast the first time! So, MYA is headed back to the beautiful White Mountains region of New Hampshire for a wicked fun packed weekend adventure including ziplining, nighttime ice castle exploring, state park exploring, downhill skiing (cross country if you prefer), snowshoeing, and more…

Friday eve will get settled into our accommodations, our own private home with access to a pool and hot tub! We’re nicely placed in the town of Lincoln and very close to Loon Mountain. We’ll have three comfortable bedrooms and 2.5 neat, clean bathrooms. Two levels of living space will allow for us to spread out and relax!

Arrival time is very flexible (the house is open at 3pm). We’ll have time to check out the clubhouse with a heated indoor pool, outdoor pool, hot tub, and gym. Adventurers can stretch out after the drive, enjoy happy hour and indulge in a hearty MYA vegetarian meal.

Saturday, after breakfast and yoga, adventurers have a date in Lincoln with Alpine Adventures for winter ziplining. They opened the first, longest, highest and fastest Zipline Canopy Tour in New England in 2006. Our adrenaline will be pumping on this wintertime thrill ride! Our guides will keep us safe and secure as we zip over the canopy with outstanding views.

We’ll come back to our fab pad to relax and eat yummy food before heading out for nighttime fun - a visit to the Ice Castles (if they aren’t melted yet)! Adventurers will explore icy layers and tunnels in a version of Frozen. The castles are enshrouded in an aurora borealis and lit from within in a rainbow of colors.

Sunday funday can be adventurer’s choice! Loon Mountain is close by and has wonderful downhill runs. Cross-country skiing is awesome there too, their network of trails makes for a perfect way to explore the White Mountains. Loon also has a skating pond that we may like to check out - fun! Adventurers can purchase their downhill skiing tickets online. For cross-country skiing no worries, Loon’s trail prices are very affordable or you can opt for park trails for free.

We checked out Franconia Notch State Park during our last visit and loved snowshoeing in to see The Flume, a super cool site of flowing water and thick ice and snow.

Don’t miss out on a yoga adventure with healthy vegetarian food, fab accommodations, ziplining, ice castles, playtime in the snow and more…

Cost: $425/twin bunk bed; $475/queen; $700/shared queen (total price for 2 adventurers)
