Join Holly Twining, founder of MYA, for fun, flowing paddleboard yoga on the beautiful Stillwater River. You never know what you might see, the natural world is alive and well on the river with turtles, beavers, cormorants, songbirds, sandpipers, eagle, osprey and more.
Adventurers will gather at Brown’s Beach a sweet spot close to downtown Orono Tuesday nights, July 9th-August 13th, at 5:30pm. Our boards, paddles, pfds, and anchors, will be delivered weekly by the fab UMAINE campus organization Maine Bound.
You can join us with your own board but the number of participants will be limited. To commit to your paddleboard yoga practice, I’ll have drop in sign ups available one week ahead of the practice - first come first serve :)
This yoga practice is for everyone, no worries, you'll only fall in if you really want to and honestly, that's part of the fun! By the end of the six weeks who knows what amazing poses you may be pulling off on that board!
Yoga is always only doing what is best for your body, mind, and spirit; all variations, modifications, your own personal flair, all is welcome! There is no doubt that adventurers will strengthen their core and test their balance.
Each week at the adventure's close - Holly is thrilled to invite adventurers to her back porch and gardens for wine, cheese, chocolate and lots of chit chatting!
