Join MYA for a blissful adventure on PEI, Canada! From our charming & serene stay to hiking, biking, paddling, birding, swimming, yoga, and shoreline explorations with both white sand & red sand cliffs, this adventure will surely bring peace to your mind, body, and spirit.

Our chalet is a hidden gem on 12 acres of woodland, simply surrounded by nature. The beautifully cared for property is highlighted by a hot tub, sauna, and pool - nordic spa! With a fully stocked kitchen, the MYA cook will be ready to prepare delicious vegetarian food offerings. Adventurers will have three comfy cozy bedrooms along with an option to camp out or hammock out :)

Thoughtful touches abound like the wood fire pizza oven, gazebo, stage (who has a karaoke machine?!), fire pit, and geodesic dome. Lots of lounging areas for taking in the starry skies at night.

The location in Montague or better known as “Montague the Beautiful”, is fantastic, just 45 minutes from Charlottetown with a tranquil river running through it (we can paddle it!), a waterfront boardwalk, and The Confederation Trail access via bike or by foot. Harvey Moore Waterfowl Park is a mere 7 minutes away with a one-hour trail meandering through the park. For swimming & paddling, the Brudenell Provincial Park and Panmure Island Provincial Park with a white sandy beach are both less than 20 minutes away.

We will have the option to go further afield and check out the red cliffs of Cavendish, the Anne of Green Gables House, and The Dunes Gallery, Gardens & Cafe, a wonderful space to spend time, and more... There is so much to see and enjoy in PEI!

MYA will offer up a yoga practice every morning and if the timing seems right, in the eve as well. Beach yoga at any moment! An MYA cook will serve up three dinners and three breakfasts giving adventurers a chance for an evening out and perhaps a Sunday brunch. Lunches will be on the go and up to adventurers with the exception of a picnic day when MYA will pack up leftovers and extra goodies for a nice spread away from our home.

Come and make wicked sweet summertime memories with MYA in a magical place soaked in goodness! There is limited space inside but there is definitely plenty of space outdoors for camping. Please know that arrival time & departure are flexible. If adventurers only want to stay three nights, there’s time to adjust the schedule.

Quebec Winter Carnival Adventure

Come and enjoy an outdoor festival in Quebec’s winter wonderland with MYA! We’ve been there before and can not recommend it enough. We’ll be there on opening night for Winter Carnival and stay a long weekend to get in all of the fun we possibly can. Enjoy outdoor snow inspired adventuring, yoga sessions, yummy vegetarian food, sweet accommodations in the old city, strolling, skating & sledding, and so much more…

One of our afternoons/eves can be spent at Valcartier, a wicked playground with an ice hotel, amazing tubing runs, a lit skateway, and an indoor waterpark. Adventurers get to decide how much they’d like to take on; a choose your own adventure, riding a chill vibe or a do all the things vibe.

The winter carnival features cool ice and snow sculptures, works of art made from giant blocks. These sculptures transform the city into a wonderful outdoor museum. The 100%-made-of ice Palace of Bonhomme is super close to our apartments. Bonhomme Carnaval, the snowman character, symbolizes the spirit of fun of this winter celebration. Every year the palace serves as a focal point for several Carnival activities.

A highlight is the nightly dance party near the Citadelle de Quebec (awesome!), a magical night parade, and live music in a fairy-tale setting. We had an absolute blast dancing to all the fab djs!

Our excursion to Valcartier will be epic! We’ll visit the Hôtel de Glace (ice hotel) with art and the wintertime spectacle greeting you as soon as you enter the Grand Hall. The rooms are decorated with majestic sculptures with each one touting a different theme. Some may indulge in a delicious cocktail served in an ice glass!

It will be up to each individual adventurer if they’d like to partake in the water park, Bora Parc, a Polynesian-style park with a large wave pool, over 14 water slides, an adventure river, and a double surf wave attraction.

Tubing, we might get in on that as well! We can bring along our ice skates, skis, and snowshoes to get in lots of extra snow specific activities :) If adventurers want another add-on, there’s a nordic spa thermal experience in Old Quebec for ultimate relaxation - actually, you don’t want to miss out on Strom Spa, it is legit fabulousness!

Our accommodations for three nights will be in quaint old Quebec, just steps from the Notre-Dame de Québec Basilica-Cathedral and a 5 min stroll to Chateau Frontenac. Walking through the historic district will be easy, very accessible. Adventurers can spread out into two apartments with queen beds, a twin & bunk beds.

Daily yoga will be offered up as well as outdoor snowga. Delicious vegetarian breakfasts, dinners & happy hours will be served up by fabulously talented MYA chef MJ! Lunches will be up to adventurers out on the town. The add ons of spa time, tubing, waterpark etc are not included but if we have consensus, tickets can be purchased ahead of time.

Don’t miss out on a wicked fun long weekend in a beautiful place with the quaint coolness of a European city to celebrate the wonderland that is the Quebec Winter Carnival!

Cost: $550/twin or bunk bed; $700/queen; $900/shared queen (total price for two adventurers)
