Ice Climb, Snowga & Ski Adventure

MYA & Equinox Guiding Service are coming together again for super fab ice climbing in Grafton Notch State Park! We’ll partake in snowtastic activities of snowga and cross-country skiing and/or downhill as well! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…

Friday afternoon/evening arrival time is flexible, there will be a happy hour no doubt and MYA will be offering up yummy vegetarian soup and more whenever the time is right. Adventurers have a private home to lounge and relax in; the 1870 farm home is in the heart of downtown Bethel with 4 bedrooms that sleep 12 comfortably, and 2 bathrooms. A huge plus to our very active weekend is the 7 person hot tub which adventurers can indulge in whenever they like. We can experience all that the sweet small town has to offer just minutes away from the home. We’ll be close to Gould Academy which makes for a very nice, walkable neighborhood with many surrounding farm-style residences; our prime location is very close to the local grocery store and numerous delightful restaurants.

It’s also the perfect spot to be able to bring along your skis or snowshoes and pop on the trails (about a 15 minute walk). Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in Bethel is lovely, the fat biking trails may be groomed as well. Bring along all of your gear! If you need something, please let MYA know :) We will definitely be rocking the snowga (yoga in the snow, often in snowshoes) this weekend! Bring your sense of humor and your best snowsuit!

Saturday morning after breakfast at the house, we’ll hit the perfect spot in the park for ice climbing. Noah Kleiner of Equinox Guiding Service will help guide both beginners and experienced ice climbers with simple and reassuring step-by-step, professional, state-of-the-art instruction. He’ll provide adventurers with boots, spikes, ice axes, harnesses and helmets, and anything else (positive energy!) needed to make the bliss of ice climbing happen. Really, no experience necessary. The climbing conditions last season were perfect and we’re hoping for nothing less this time around! We’ve got a full day slotted with Noah so we have the option of checking out two locales and climbing as long as we like.

Post-climbing folks can head into town for some free time, food, and shopping. MYA will be handling a second vegetarian dinner in the evening. Sundayfunday will be up to adventurers, there will surely be breakfast and yoga, perhaps a morning soak before packing out. Again, there’s a lot of outdoors activities in the area from skiing to snowshoeing to ice skating…

We’re only a 10 minute drive from Sunday River ski resort! Holly is planning to downhill ski on Friday and hoping that you’ll join in - please know that they have a cross-country option as well. Seriously, don’t miss out on this crazy fun, yummy, relaxing weekend in beautiful Bethel and beyond. Please know that if you’d like to come and not get into the ice climbing with us, please contact Holly and we’ll work something out.

Cost: $500, includes two nights accommodations, two vegetarian dinners & breakfasts, happy hour!, daily yoga, snowga, ice climbing, hot tubbing, night strolling, good vibes, great company

To register, please choose to add to cart below or payment is available via VENMO (@maineyogaadventures_) or a good ol’ check in the mail :)

Please be sure to check out MYA’s cancellation policy - thanks.
