Grand Hikes & Epic Sites: Arizona Adventure

Only 3 spots left!

Join MYA for eight days of fabulous hiking in Sedona and the Grand Canyon, ghosting in Jerome, chillin’ in Scottsdale, eating homemade vegetarian cuisine, yogifying, and so much more! Limited spots available…

Come together with Holly, founder of MYA and Sarah, our fab cook, as we take on some of the most gorgeous sites in Arizona. Adventurers will fly into Phoenix where we can spend some time at the desert botanical garden with plenty of open spaces for yoga and relaxing. Flights are booked on American Airlines and we’re more than happy to share the details with interested parties.

After taking in the gardens, we’ll head to Sedona, a sacred and powerful place where one can experience the mysterious cosmic forces that are said to emanate from the red rocks. We’ll settle into a beautiful sunset and happy hour.

Our comfy lux abode has wonderful access to hiking trails and is just a short walk to the iconic Chapel of the Holy Cross. We’ll be perfectly situated for three nights in a quiet Sedona neighborhood. Just a seven minute drive away, we can partake in sunrise yoga at the iconic Bell Rock then hike it.

When we're not out exploring, we’ll put our feet up and relax in the spacious hot tub, our comfortable seating area with views of Cathedral Rock, and the outdoor dining space. Indoors we can enjoy foosball, ping pong, and an authentic juke box. We’ll be experiencing Sedona in all of the ways!

Not far from our home is Jerome, a super cool mining town, where if adventurers are up for it, we can book a ghost tour. The range in cost is about $50-$100, Holly is game if you are!

We’ll still have time for more hiking, devils bridge with a cool arch is on the list as well as the iconic West Fork of Oak Creek, part of the Coconino National Forest. It is composed of an extraodinary ecosystem that gives it it’s captivating allure. Think canyon, creek, woods, and natural wonders all in 6.75 miles of worthwhile explorations.

After Sedona’s enchanting vibe and the special healing qualities of it’s vortex energy, we’ll move further north to more outstanding sites. MYA has booked a sweet spot to explore the Grand Canyon and all of it’s fabulousness for three nights so that we can get in sunrise on the rim and sunset surrounded by unfathomable beauty.

Located on the closest private property only a few minutes from the park, adventurers will settle into a home with plenty of space, two living rooms (one with a sweet fireplace and southwest decor), five bedrooms, and three bathrooms. Very private and quiet, we’ll be surrounded by nature and wildlife, nestled into our own little world only a minute off the highway to the Grand Canyon.

The large country kitchen will be delightful for Sarah to make the culinary magic happen. After gorgeous sunsets, we can enjoy the local nightlife with quiet evenings around the fireplace. The area encompassing the canyon is incredibly dreamy, surreal in fact.

We’ll explore the Grand Canyon as much as possible during our stay just outside the park then come to find peace, tranquility, and a beautiful star show at our mountain view home. A fire in the firepit will be a great spot to take it all in. The views are going to be outright stunning and our senses will surely be lit up from the mind-blowing landscapes of the canyon.

Having filled our beings with nature’s magnificence we will get to some quality volunteer time at a local animal shelter in Flagstaff. MYA will be happy to take on any tasks that they need that day as well as snuggling the animal residents. It’ll be difficult not to bring a fur baby home as it will be our last eve in Arizona!

After volunteering, we’ll travel to Scottsdale to spend time in the old town and at our fab pad with three hammocks, pool, and hot tub. From our living room and private backyard we’ll appreciate Camelback Mountain in all its glory. We’ll enjoy another fire pit and maybe a game or two of cornhole and/or shuffleboard. This home again has plenty of space with a modern open concept with four bedrooms (with dreamy memory foam mattresses) and three bathrooms with a cozy living room, and a nice kitchen.

Our drive to the airport the following day is not far, we’ll soak up as much goodness as we can before we have to say goodbye!

Throughout the adventure, MYA will offer up a yoga practice every morning either at our homestead or at our hiking location. If the timing is right, a nighttime practice isn’t out of the realm of possibility. Sarah will offer up vegetarian breakfasts and dinners with the exception of one night in Sedona and our last eve in Scottsdale. Lunches will be up to adventurers and our daily out & about schedule will help inform if we need to pack ourselves a personal picnic or stop in town.

Don’t miss out on this epic seven night adventure to Arizona packed full of amazing hikes & sites, yoga flows, food, good company, great vibes, and views & views & views!

Hiking & Picnicking: Mount Chase Adventure

Don’t miss out on a super fab Sundayfunday! MYA is taking on the gorgeous waterfall trail to the summit of Mount Chase and enjoying a gourmet vegetarian picnic post hike. Yoga will happen spontaneously throughout the adventure :)

The adventure begins at the Mount Chase waterfall trailhead, adventurers will be carpooling and making sure that no one gets lost along the way. We’ll get in some yoga to get us ready for the hike which can be steep and scrambly in sections; please know that this hike can be strenuous but adventurers will be taking their time breathing in the beauty.

The 1.7-mile trail (one way) begins at the intersection of Mountain Road and the Shin Pond ATV trail. MYA is opting for the waterfall trail which will link to the mountain trail and Eagle’s Point is an offshoot trail to another pretty view that we can decide to take in the moment (weather & energy levels to consider). Just know that the hike will be under 5 miles. No matter what, the views are spectacular up top with Katahdin & fellow mountains in the distance.

Mount Chase was the site of a fire tower for many years; two towers have been built on the summit. The first built in 1909 was a wooden structure then replaced with a sixteen-foot steel tower that was removed in 2001. The old fire warden’s cabin comes into view along the way as well as the cabin where the watchmen lived which has fallen into major disarray but is super cool to take a look at. The are plenty of places to pause, there’s no rush up the mountain.

Adventurers will picnic at Lower Shin Pond and if time permits, take a short hike into Shin Falls; a fifteen minute hike to a 30 foot waterfall is very enticing!

Cost: $45. includes yummy food, yoga, wicked hikes, fab views & all around good vibes

To register for this adventure, payment is available via VENMO (@maineyogaadventures_), check/cash, or add to cart below...

Please be sure to check out MYA’s cancellation policy - thanks.

Wining & Vibing: Portugal Adventure

Calling it full my friends - thanks so much! If you really want in please contact Holly at 207-299-0082 and we’ll chat :)

Join MYA on our second epic adventure to Portugal! We’ll take in the local culture as we explore spectacular beaches, mountains, historic towns, castles, cheese shops, wine cellars & beyond…

MYA will be enjoying an elevated eight acre private property in the Parque Natural da Arrábida with magnificent views of the sea and mountains. Our breathtaking home is less than 3 miles from Castelo de Palmela, a castle situated between the estuaries of the River Tagus and Sado River, near the mouth of the latter; also part of the Costa Azul (blue coast). We’ll adventure to stunning beaches in the area that are about a 15 minute drive from the property.

The Setúbal peninsula, authentic (not ravaged by tourists yet), is known for good wine, Azeitao cheese, and cakes! Lisbon, full of charm, history and vibrant cuisine, is only 30 minutes away and Sintra, a wee bit further on, is a sweet town in a green mountainscape of palaces, country estates, parks and a medieval castle.

Adventurers will have plenty of space in a beautiful house with eight bedrooms, two living rooms, two kitchens, and a panoramic outdoor jacuzzi; views for days from every perspective. There’s a lovely pool and plenty of options indoors & out for our daily yoga practice, if the vibe is right we’ll get in an evening practice as well. Beyond the doorstep are great trails to stroll and take in more sights…

Located next to the sea, Arrábida Natural Park has incomparable beauty where the blue of the sea alternates with the white tones of chalk cliffs and the depths of green vegetation covering the mountains. In addition to the Arrábida range is the Serra do Risco with the highest peak along the Portuguese mainland coast, a magnificent cliff measuring 380m high that overlooks the sea.

Adventurers will visit the beaches of Figueirinha, Galapos and the Portinho da Arrábida with fine sand and transparent waters much like the Mediterranean. Ribeira do Cavalo is one of the best secluded beaches in Portugal which we’ll hike into through the surrounding mountains to take in the calmness of the water. Praia dos Galapinhos is a must see dreamy beach with clear waters & white sand surrounded by lush vegetation. Praia das Bicas is accessed by a long wooden stair case, a perfect spot to watch the sunset or simply play in the waves. Adventurers may find Argil, a type of green clay, that's used as a natural skin treatment.

Adventurer birders will be compelled to visit the Sado Estuary Natural Reserve. The wildlife park is home to an astonishing variety of bird species; around 220 have been recorded in open water, shallow lagoons, reed-beds, and across mud flats. The estuary is an important wintering ground for razorbill, marsh harrier, flamingo, purple heron, and black-winged stilt, among many others. Let’s go - don’t forget your binos!

Arrábida has excellent conditions for farming and produces high-quality products including the wines that we’ll discover on the Costa Azul wine route and the delicious cheeses we’ll sample in the town of Azeitão. MYA will keep a supply of Portuguese wines & cheeses at the house as well that we can sample at our leisure.

Outside of our area, we’ll adventure to Lisbon & Sintra to take in sights, get in a hike or two, and eat some yummy food, and head to fairytale castles. Adventurers can help build the excursion :)

All of the breakfasts are covered by MYA, we’ll have five vegetarian dinners at the house and two out on the town so that we can take in the local experience. Anna will be our super fab cook throughout our stay! Lunches are up to adventurers, either leftovers or stopping in a town. The MYA offerings will be vegetarian and any and all food allergies or preferences will be honored.

We filled up super quick last time around! Don’t miss out on adventuring to Portugal to take in nature, towns and cities rich in history, yoga practices with beautiful views, delicious vegetarian food, gorgeous beaches, exhilarating hikes, tasty wine (& cheese!!!), hot tubbing, and so much more.

Join MYA in stunning Acadia National Park for an amazing hike up Acadia Mountain followed up by vegetarian food & slow, fluid spiral goddess movement in Bangor…

Adventurers will carpool as much as possible and gather at the Acadia Mountain trailhead in Acadia, along route 102 across from Echo Lake. The moderately strenuous hike is a little less than three mile loop, just a bit of scrambling in spots with gorgeous views. We’ll take our time, drinking water, eating snacks, and soaking up the natural beauty. We’ll get in a bit of yoga along the way. Adventurers can opt to grab to some snacks and follow up the hike with a quick dip of toes in the lake.

We’ll then head out of Acadia to downtown Bangor to the lovely Spiral Goddess Collective, a Center for Mind/Body Movement with 4th-floor views of the Kenduskeag River and surrounding area. MYA is super excited to partner with founder & visionary Sarah Hentges, who offers up weekly classes and monthly workshops that combine movement and music in unique and creative ways that are trauma-informed and open to a diversity of minds/bodies that require no previous experience.

Sarah wears many hats at the SGC and beyond. In addition to being a professor at UMA Bangor, she has taught a variety of fitness and yoga classes for over 25 years and for more than a decade in Bangor, on college campuses, at non-profit community centers, the YMCA, and gyms. For a long time she has dreamed of having her own space and doing her own thing, but she never thought something like The Spiral Goddess Collective would be possible. And then suddenly it was.

MYA will serve up a vegetarian spread to adventurers as they get cozy and relax into the space. Spring Fever Pop-Up Hiking Adventure

Heads ups, I changed the date from Sunday to sunny Saturday!

MYA is so ready to get on the trails at Acadia before all the tourists do! It’s spring and that means fabulous spring hiking in Maine’s National Park; this time adventurers will take on Sargent Mountain with stunning views and even a waterfall along the way…

Adventurers are looking at a 4.5 mile loop hike along the Hadlock Brook Trail, up to the summit and over to the Maple Spring Trail back down. We’ll come prepared with microspikes in case of an icy patch or two. The beginning of the trail is a slow, gradual climb alongside the brook and after roughly half a mile, the trail reaches the famous waterfall bridge and the Around-Mountain Carriage Road, its skewed arch perfectly frames the beautiful Hadlock Falls, one of the few waterfalls in the park. The hike will get a bit more intense with a steadier climb post falls but no worries, we’ll take our time breathing in the beauty (plenty of water and snack breaks!). At the summit we’ll go for some relaxation and a yoga flow, the length of which will be very weather dependent.

To head down we’ll hop on the maple ridge, a lesser used magical trail that travels alongside a stream as well. Please note, if this trail is closed, there are other options to bring us down :) Lovely portions of the carriage trail will be visited along with bridges, one of which is the hemlock bridge, another beauty. Adventurers will enjoy the stream crossings and the glacial formations along the way.

After hiking adventurers will enjoy some vegetarian food, feel free to bring along your fav beverage.

Let’s celebrate spring with a hike to bring in the season!

Cost: $45 including a gorgeous hike, a yoga practice, yummy food, good vibes

Payment is available via VENMO @maineyogaadventures_ or a check or purchase below…

Hiking & Hot Tubbing Adventure

Join MYA for a lovely Saturday as we hike the quarry trail to the summit of Mount Waldo in Frankfort then we’ll soak out the work in a fab hot tub, there will also be plenty of yoga and of course, yummy vegetarian food!

Adventurers will meet up at The Old Quarry Trail at the end of the Mt. Waldo Road, we’ll follow the trail along the old railroad bed half a mile to the old quarry. Granite blocks were carried by rail down to a wharf on the South Branch of Marsh Stream at the present site of the boat launch, where remains of the storage buildings are still visible. Fort Knox in Prospect was built with stone from this quarry.

We’ll continue our moderate hike from the quarry to the Mount Waldo summit on a trail behind the north quarry face (the most graffitied) where we’ll pass the quarry pond on our left. From an old woods road we’ll follow the pink ribboned trail less than a mile and 1/2 to the summit which has expansive views of the surrounding area. The trail follows the contours of the mountain, making an ascent over bare ledges through rich woods. Total distance is 3.5 miles round trip with a 950 foot vertical rise; adventurers will take their time soaking in all the beauty and we’ll get in pauses for yoga along the way.

Post hike is the eating, hot tubbing, and general merriment portion of the adventure! We’ll drive about a half hour to Orrington to a fellow adventurer’s home for vegetarian food and the most relaxing hot tub soaking with luxurious strong massage jets. We’ll also get to meet plenty of the resident dogs and cats, maybe Rhino the adventure chug will come along too :) Feel free to bring along your beverage of choice - the fire pit will be ready to warm you up as dusk settles in.

Don’t miss out on a fab hiking, connecting with nature, excursion with the ultimate hot tub relaxation with outdoors yoga practices and yummy food as well!

Cost: $45.

Hiking & Wining: Portugal Adventure

Sold out - thank you adventurers!

Join MYA on an epic adventure to Portugal! We’ll hike and take in the local culture as we explore spectacular beaches, mountains, historic towns, castles, cheese shops, wine cellars & beyond…

MYA will be enjoying an elevated eight acre private property in the Parque Natural da Arrábida with magnificent views to the sea, mountains and Lisbon. Our home is less than 3 miles from Castelo de Palmela, a castle situated between the estuaries of the River Tagus and Sado River, near the mouth of the latter; also part of the Costa Azul (blue coast).

Adventurers will have plenty of space in a large beautiful house with eight bedrooms, two living rooms, two kitchens, and a panoramic outdoor jacuzzi with crazy views. There’s a lovely pool and plenty of options indoors & out for our daily yoga practice, if the vibe is right we’ll get in an evening practice as well.

Located next to the sea, Arrábida Natural Park has incomparable beauty where the blue of the sea alternates with the white tones of chalk cliffs and the depths of green vegetation covering the mountains. Speleology (cave explorations), diving, and mountain climbing are a few activities that local guides offer. In addition to the Arrábida mountain range is the Serra do Risco with the highest peak along the Portuguese mainland coast, a magnificent cliff measuring 380m high that overlooks the sea.

Adventurers will visit the beaches of Figueirinha, Galapos and the Portinho da Arrábida with fine sand and transparent waters much like the Mediterranean. Access will be an adventure as we take a steep, uneven path down known locally as the 'goat path'. Ribeira do Cavalo is one of the best secluded beaches in Portugal which we’ll hike into through the surrounding mountains to take in the calmness of the water that is uncommon in this area.

Praia dos Galapinhos is another dreamy beach with clear waters & white sand surrounded by lush vegetation. An unmarked trail that starts on the side of the road after Galapinhos is Praia dos Coelhos, a stunning wild beach with another steep downhill walk but wicked worthwhile. As another way to explore the area, adventurers may want to get in on a Coasteering Trip, a multi-activity that uses trekking, climbing, swimming, rappelling, zip line, caving and many jumps into the water.

There are more interconnected beaches with high cliffs and incredible walking trails. Adventurers may find Argil, a type of green clay, that's used as a natural skin treatment. Strong waves & high tides are the gift of these beaches so we’ll hang back watch surfers dance on the treacherous waters. Praia das Bicas is accessed by a long & steep wooden stair case, a perfect spot to watch the sunset or adventurers could opt for paragliding from the cliff edge for an incredible high!

Outside of our area, we’ll adventure to Lisbon & Sintra to take in sights, get in a hike or two, and eat some yummy food. We may want to take an electric bike guided tour in the city before we head to the fairytale castles. Adventurers can help build the excursion :)

All of the breakfasts are covered by MYA, we’ll have five vegetarian dinners at the house and two out on the town so that we can take in the local experience. Lunches are up to adventurers, either leftovers or stopping in a town. The MYA offerings will be vegetarian and any and all food allergies/preferences will be honored.

Don’t miss out on adventuring to Portugal to take in nature, towns and cities rich in history, yoga practices with beautiful views, delicious vegetarian food, gorgeous beaches, exhilarating hikes, tasty wine (& cheese!!!), hot tubbing, and so much more!

Precipice & Picnic: Pop-Up Hiking Adventure

  • Precipice Trail, Acadia National Park (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Get in on a Saturyay like no other - MYA is taking on the precipice trail in Acadia National Park! The trail is strenuous but the trail is magnificent, a true beauty full of ladders and ridges with views for days (when it isn’t foggy)!

Champlain Mountain has some of the most impressive cliffs as one of the highest mountains in the park. The Precipice Trail is a breathtaking trail that heads up these steep cliffs, navigating the various tight pathways and rock scrambles. Numerous iron rungs, ladders, handrails, and wooden bridges will help adventurers at the more difficult sections. With a name like "Precipice Trail," you know this is the most brilliant exhilarating hike in the park!

Adventurers are looking at a massively rewarding 4-5 hour long hike; one mile for Precipice Trail to summit of Champlain Mountain with an elevation gain of 850 feet; 2.6 miles for a complete loop hike. Yes, we’ll take plenty of breaks, drink lots of water and bring along snacks to keep us going - the point is to enjoy it, breathe and take in all of the beauty. We’ll find a sweet spot on top for some yoga.

Post hike we’ll get into a super yummy vegetarian picnic at lovely sand beach! We’ll relax and enjoy all of the goodness from a challenging hike. Please know that adventurers with a fear of heights may not want to take on such a beast but if you’re up for it with hikers bursting with positive energy, enthusiasm and a helping hand, perhaps you’d like to join us. Reach out to Holly (text/call 207-299-0082) with any questions.

Cost: $45. To register for this adventure, payment is available via VENMO (@maineyogaadventures_) or choose to add to cart below…

Beehive & Bubbles: Pop-Up Adventure

Join MYA for a last minute hiking adventure with a yummy vegetarian picnic by the sea in Acadia National Park! Adventurers will take on the fabulous Beehive and Bubbles hikes with lots of lovely views and yoga everywhere we can…

We’re getting an early start to avoid the crowds to take on the Beehive, the majestic peak that overlooks Sand Beach in Acadia. The hike is thrilling, swift, and definitely satisfying but is not recommended for adventurers with a fear of heights (please know that it’s helpful to hike this with adventure buddies, lots of positive energy & good vibes to get you thru). We’ll head straight up the steep south face of the peak with granite steps, iron rungs to climb, and several handrails for exposed rock scrambling sections. Once to the top, all are rewarded with incredible views of Sand Beach, Great Head, and the surrounding area. The good news is that this hike is only two miles total and you don’t have to go down the way you come up! We’ll relax up top and return via the easy going bowl trail, pausing at the beautiful lake nestled between the surrounding peaks. Let’s hope for bright sunny skies and that we won’t get fogged in :)

We’ll follow up our first hike with a picnic at lovely Sand Beach. Adventurers can dip their toes in that super cold Maine water! With happy bellies, we’ll make our way to our second hike, The Bubbles. The hike begins on the Bubbles Divide trailhead and we’ll make our way to the infamous Bubble Rock then head out to the North Bubble Trail (the less busy option) for some great views of Jordan Pond, Pemetic & Sargent Mountains, and the Cranberry Isles. We’ll enjoy a few minor scrambling sections but it relents quickly enough. We can take the carriage road to the Jordan Pond Carry Trail or work our hike differently so that we can experience a bit more of the pond and/or South Bubble. Regardless, we’re looking at a 2-3 hour hike with breathtaking views :)

It’s about time MYA hit Beehive & Bubbles with adventurers (and sweet Sand Beach) - don’t miss out on a super fun day in Acadia with views for days hiking, yoga, and yummy food!

Cost: $40. Payment is available via VENMO (@maineyogaadventures_), or add to cart below…

Hike & Picnic Pop-Up Adventure

Working on rescheduling! Sorry for any inconvenience…

Join MYA for a last minute sundayfunday hike and picnic by the sea in fabulous Acadia National Park! We’ll get in sweet hiking with lots of lovely views, yoga anywhere we can, and eating yummy vegetarian food (ice cream for the big finish)…

Adventurers will take on the challenging but relatively short Schoodic Head Trail (Anvil Trail) that runs from Blueberry Hill Road to the summit of Schoodic Head, a small mountain. It begins at an elevation of 70 feet and ends at 442 feet, a climb of approximately 375 feet in .7 mile. While steep grades make for a good workout, it’s the rocks and roots that this trail a bit treacherous; adventurers will be paying close attention to their footing :) I recommend hiking poles if you like them for extra support.

The round trip hike is 2.6 miles. We may want to get in a little extra, hiking over to the views on the East Trail and working our way back on the nice & easy Alder Trail that glides inland from the rocky shore along a grassy path among fruit trees and alder bushes. It truly is an enjoyable hike with some great bursts of moss, rocky ledges and fab views. MYA won’t be in a rush, there’s nature to breathe and soak in. Forest bathing with a rocky challenge thrown into the mix.

Post hike we’ll get in some yoga stretches (we’ll have gotten in a few poses on rock slabs along the way) with nice views of the coast and then it’s time to eat and relax! MYA will lay out a hearty vegetarian picnic for all to savor. If adventurers have a sweet tooth, Me and Ben’s Dairy Cream will be open in Birch Harbor, a small village in the town of Gouldsboro, for a tasty treat!

Rhino the chug and Holly loved this hike back in 2018 and are psyched to share it with adventurers! Yes it is moderate and a little challenging here and there but we’ll take our time and have fun with it. Don’t miss out on the goodness of this pop-up sundayfunday (rhino will be there for pat pats!) …

Anna can work with any and all dietary needs, food allergies and preferences.

Post dinner we may want to head into Acadia for a sunset hike or stroll down to the harbor or hit the closest beach for a dip :) Whatever adventurers would like to do, MYA is up for it!

The morning will begin with a super tasty MYA breakfast to get adventurers fortified for hiking in Acadia National Park. First up is the fab Beech Mountain Trail - this trail leads up the side of the cliffs with beautiful views and a ladder rung or two; a moderate hike.

When adventurers arrive at the top of the cliffs we’ll practice yoga on a great slab of rocks in the sunshine. The view is well worth the hike. Far below, people on the beach will seem like little ants and we’ll see Greening Island and the house where Henry Wadsworth Longfellow stayed with the Great Cranberry Island beyond. Southwest Harbor will also be in view from the top. And that sweet town is definitely on our list for visiting!

Post-hike adventurers will then have relaxation, snacks, and optional swim time at Echo Lake Beach. It’s so nice to splash around after heating up hiking. If energy levels are good, we may even get some stretching in on the sand. Another option depending on the wind, can be dropping in boats if adventurers bring them along for our stay. Holly will have a few paddleboards, her favorite way to play in the water but canoes and kayaks are welcome as well.

We’ll have options in the afternoon on what we’d like to do, perhaps another hike, Holly is into Precipice if others are up for it! Please know that this is an exposed and almost vertical 1,000 foot climb up the east face of Champlain Mountain. The trail is only recommended for physically fit and experienced hikers who have no fear of heights.

Beehive is an awesome one too, short & sweet and dramatic views from this steep trail with ladders. We can also hit Sand Beach from there for a quick dip in the sea. If adventurers would like a bit less of a height challenge, the Jordan Pond shore trail is quite nice on its own or packaged up with one of the Bubbles. Flying Mountain is another close by beauty that has a lovely cove at the base where loons are known to swim and peregrines fly thru the cliffs.

Simply chilling at our lovely inn, taking a stroll in the woods or giving into some good ol’ relaxation is another option as well as taking your fav watercraft (or Holly’s paddleboards) to another nearby drop in spot.

Adventurers will enjoy another fabulous spread by Anna followed up by a stroll to the Asticou Azalea Gardens, a Japanese inspired tranquil environment. We’ll take our time breathing in the greenery and floral scents, strolling thru bird song in this beautiful oasis.

As darkness sets in we can get in some nighttime stargazing adventuring which is still pretty great in Acadia! We may want to hit the epic sunset on Cadillac, we’ll check the weather for the clearest sky, it is a truly extraordinary experience.

On Thursday after a delish breakfast and a gentle yoga practice, adventurers will head out for a standup paddleboarding tour. We’ll meet up with a guide at a location with low wind and off the beaten path, hugging the shoreline and enjoying nature. Holly will be sure to throw in some yoga poses along the way - no experience necessary! We’ll all have some fun and be prepared if we happen to fall in :)

Post-paddling, adventurers will have some free time to relax then decide on more activities such as a hike or biking or a swim (or napping!). Dinnertime will sure to be awesome with local as possible and wicked fresh ingredients. Adventurers will be eating early because a schooner sunset sail, a downeast windjammer cruise, will be the perfect way to bring on the night. Please let Holly know if that is not a good option for you, sea sickness is no joke.

Friday will be adventurer’s choice - there is so much to do in this area and there may be something that you simply don’t want to miss. If we haven’t gotten it in yet, tide pooling in Acadia is super fun and there are some sweet leisurely hikes surrounding the pools. Any of the seaside trails are stunning and also perfect for dipping the toes in on a hot August day. More paddleboarding is always an option!

The only thing we absolutely have to do is vacate the inn by 11am.

Don’t miss out on this chance to adventure in such a sweet spot with a great community of adventurers! The cost includes 3 nights accommodations at the inn, vegetarian breakfasts & dinners, wine tastings, yoga sessions, paddleboarding, sunset sail, hiking, good vibes and more! (Please be sure to be fully vaccinated at the time of adventuring to make it safe and easy for all involved.)

Cost: $825 twin; $950 solo queen; $1300 shared queen (total price for two adventurers)

Thursday will be a flexible arrival time, no worries if you can’t get to us until sundown, we’ll be there ready to feed you no matter what :) Adventurers will have time to settle in and relax into a lovely home in Manset, Southwest Harbor. Such a delightful place right on the water, away from the hubbub, with the perfect setting for yoga, and a divine porch for sipping wine & relaxing. That sunset is going to be outstanding! The view encompasses the entrance to Somes Sound, inner and outer islands, as well as the western and eastern mountains of Acadia National Park.

We’ll literally be minutes away from fantastic outdoor activities with the park surrounding the property. Ship Harbor Nature Trail, Bass Harbor Light, Echo Lake Beach, and some of the most scenic hikes in the park, including summit trails up Acadia, St Sauveur, Mansell, Beach Cliff, Flying Mountain and more.

The 1903 house is a classic oceanfront wood shingled 'cottage,' with ocean views from nearly every window. Very easy to access the outdoors from the fabulous wrap around porch overlooking the secluded pebble beach. The 3-story home has plenty of room with 6 bedrooms, a large living room with panoramic ocean view, a formal dining room, and eat-in kitchen. With fine crafted woodwork throughout, comfy window seats, wood burning fireplaces, a piano, books, games and puzzles galore, the house is super sweet for adventurers.

The house also has a gas grill, private dock, hammock and outdoor furniture to lounge around on. Adventurers can explore the ever-changing tidal pools or beach comb along the large cobblestone beach. There’s even a private nature trail, the Deer Path, that winds throughout the property. Nature comes to you in this wonderful spot, with sightings of deer, fox and raccoon, as well as otter, seal, dolphin, osprey and an occasional bald eagle. Another huge plus is that a few steps out the door adventurers can catch the Cranberry Cove Ferry to the outer islands or jump in the car to close by hiking trails, carriage roads, island beaches, and in-town shops.

Friday morning after a yummy breakfast, we’ll hike up the fab Beech Mountain Trail - this trail leads up the side of the cliffs with beautiful views and a ladder rung or two; a moderate hike. If adventurers would like a bit less of a height challenge, the Jordan Pond shore trail is quite nice on its own or packaged up with one of the Bubbles or Pemetic Mtn. Flying mountain is 10 minutes away and super fun as well!

We could also head back to our seaside abode to stroll amongst the tidal pools or take it easy in the hammock, and some good ol’ relaxation. Another option is taking your fav watercraft to Somes sound for a paddle perhaps dropping in right in front of our place if the water is calm enough.

Adventurers will enjoy another fabulous vegetarian dinner by Sarah, awesome MYA cook and we can get in some nighttime adventuring of stargazing which is still pretty great in Acadia and beyond!
